The Nitecore NU27 is the the kind a new light from Nitecore
600lm don't sound a lot but on a boat u usually focus on small or white areas so for me is plenty
It has a ultra low mode 6-10lm that is good enough to check the sails but not too bright to kill yr eyes for the next minute or so
Red light is there too

The key point for me is less then 56 gr weight, after few minutes u almost forget u have it on yr head
A nice future is the 3 different colour modes, cold white, warm white, and ice blue, THE WARM WHITE IS AN EYE SAVER
Also IP 6 not submersible but splash ok
If u remove the head strap u can attach a clip if that’s yr thing
U can buy it with it’s illumination bag, meant to work as lantern when the lamp hanging in it, may be to compensate for the missing flood light
Price quite ok.5-700skr depending where u r gonna get it from
Regardless of the 600lm only the trow/beam is pretty good

Downers:
No flood light, not a huge deal since the ultra low mode kind a work like a flood light
No memory, on what mode where u last

Wanna go lighter? U can look into the less powerful but much lighter Nitecore NU25 at 47 gr.
