JP-Australia and NeilPryde reign supreme at the top of the 2009 constructors rankings after 3 events.
The 2009 PWA Constructors Championship is now in full swing following the completion of the Cabo Verde, Dwarf8 Austria and Korean World Cup events.
The Constructors Championship Rankings are based on results from PWA competition to date in Waves, Slalom and Freestyle. The system, similar to that seen in Formula 1 car racing, awards points after each event. These are based on the top 2 points scores, whether men or women, from each brand in both the board and sail categories.
The Constructors Championship Rankings are recalculated following the completion of each event throughout the season. Scores can be reached via a direct link on the bottom right of homepage.
At the current standings, JP-Australia (Boards) and NeilPryde (Sails) are running away with the lead in their respective categories, thanks to the handy work of Kauli Seadi (JP / NeilPryde / Mormaii / MFC) scoring second place in Cabo Verde, Antoine Albeau’s (JP / NeilPryde) second place in Austria, and a monster haul in Korea thanks to Albeau’s victory and the defiant return of Micah Buzianis (JP / NeilPryde) from injury in second.
