RRD’s seemingly unstoppable expansion continues with the signing of German wave sailor Florian Jung.

RRD are dubbing their new signing a ‘tireless world traveller and media hard worker’. Their jet set German signing frequently contributes to international windsurfing magazines with pioneering journeys to the unexplored windsurfing wildernesses around the world.

In addition to promoting the brand through his world travel, Jung looks set to compete on as many PWA wave events as possible over the 2009 season.

Roberto Ricci has commented:

“Flo is a great rider and a better person. He just started riding RRD boards and he’s already achieved a remarkable media impact in his home country and other European countries as well. I’m sure he will grow inside the RRD Family and will become a key rider for our Team.”

Florian Jung:

“I am really happy to be a member of the RRD family. It’s a new challenge and I am looking forward to work closely with Roberto and his team. He is extremely motivated and creative to push windsurfing in the right direction. His innovative shapes and designs are outstanding. I am stoked to be part of that.”

Florian Jung is sponsored by RRD and Dakine.
