Billabong's one and only Creed McTaggart has blown the field away over the weekend at the Australian Junior Titles in Victoria by coming from behind in the final and winning the event in super fun 2-3ft beachies!!
McTaggart was trailing in 2nd place behind Matt Banting with just a minute remaining in the blue ribbon under 18 Boy’s final and he required an excellent score of 8.75 or above to win.
McTaggart found a good wave, threw caution to the wind, executed two outstanding aerial moves, scored a 9.2 and won the final!
“Best result of my life for sure” exclaimed 16 year-old McTaggart who last year placed 2nd in the under 16 division at this event.
“I knew I needed a huge score on that last ride so I just went for it hard, concentrated on landing my moves and it worked for me – I’m so happy now!”
Congratulations Creedo, we are stoked for you mate!!!!!!
