Today, the 2009 PWA constructors champions (board brands), Starboard have unveiled their 2011 freewave boards on the worldwide web.

This year, the award winning Evo has returned to the line up with a few modifications, including three fin boxes so that it can be ridden as a twin or a single depending upon the conditions you encounter.

The Quad has also had a slight makeover, with the integration of the slot boxes allowing for more versatility and tunability with regards to fin positioning. Starboard recommend you put the larger fins in the front boxes for onshore days, swap them to the back for sideshore sailing, or sail it as a twin for an even looser and more skatey feel.

Be sure to watch the awesome action video of the Quad being put through its paces HERE, by some of Starboard's top PWA riders, including former wave world champion Scott Mckercher (Starboard, Severne), 2009 Pozo waves champion Philip Koster (Starboard, NeilPryde, Dakine), former overall world title holder Kevin Pritchard (Starboard, Gaastra), and the Moroccan dare devil Boujmaa Guillol (Starboard, Severne, Mystic).

Starboard intend on launching their freeride designs later in the year, so keep an eye on their website where all will be revealed in time for spring and summer.
