NeilPryde have won the coveted 'red dot' distinction for high design quality.
The red dot design award, which dates back to 1955, is one of the biggest and most renowned design competitions in the world. Only products that clearly stand out from other comparable products, due to their outstanding design, receive the sought after quality seal from the international jury.
The 2009 PWA constructor's champions - sail brands, NeilPryde, have won the award for the whole of their 2010 sail collection, which includes the RS:Racing, as used by Antoine Albeau (JP, NeilPryde) to take yet another slalom world title. And, the Fly and Combat, which helped Kauli Seadi (JP, NeilPryde, Mormaii, MFC) and Robby Swift (JP, NeilPryde) into 2nd and 3rd overall respectively in the waves.
They've also won the award for their new X3 boom which is packed full of new technology and features, including the new 'S' shape arms.
